WSU Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Markets for 2009 are scheduled for Wednesdays from 11 AM to 4 PM from June to October.

Don’t miss the first WSU Farmer’s Market scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 11 AM to 6 PM. The market will be at 5201 Cass Ave, between Putnam and Kirby, in front of Prentis Hall (School of Business). Vendors will sell fruits, vegetables, flowers, and prepared foods produced in Michigan and the nearby region. 

Another Farmer’s Market is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 11 AM to 6 PM.  The 4th Wednesday Farmer’s Markets are a project of SEED Wayne, a program which is “dedicated to collaboratively building sustainable food systems on the campus of Wayne State University and in Detroit area communities, through activities in teaching, research, engagement, and campus operations.”
