Definition of Digital Preservation

ALCTS, a division of ALA, has announced a definition of digital preservation.  The short definition is: “Digital preservation combines policies, strategies and actions that ensure access to digital content over time.”  For the medium and long definitions and for more information, see the ALCTS website.
